Elementary school woodworking programs

For 1st to 5th grade, you can introduce students to a single tool or a mini version of our program that is geared for the elementary school teacher.

Middle school woodworking programs

For 6th to 8th grade, you can use Maplewoodshop woodworking programs for hands on career exploration, social development and hands-on math.

Many schools use Maplewoodshop woodworking as an elective and because we do not use any power tools, your teachers do not need a special certification and the school does not need extra insurance.

For 9th to 12th grade, you can solve for absenteeism, develop critical thinking skills, and provide hands-on career exploration.

With our adaptation of the excellent Career Connections program created by the Carpenters International Training Fund, your students can earn up to 16 credits over 2-3 years.

Neurodiverse learner woodworking programs

While neurodiverse covers a vast range of students with different learning styles, our customers find great utility in the multi-sensory, hands-on learning the Maplewoodshop woodworking programs provide.

Students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, ADHD, language based learning have developed math, social, and career skills
